Ann's interest in electricity evolved from the time she attended the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Vo-Tech program in the late 1980’s then continued her education through Hudson Valley Community College’s hands-on Electrical Construction & Maintenance program in the early 1990’s.

Ann spent the next 8 years working for various electrical contractors.  Initially she began as an electrical estimator, then an electrician and ultimately Ann became a project manager.  During this time, Ann was able to develop solid relationships with several well-respected electrical engineers, one of which offered her a position as an electrical designer.

Since 1997, Ann’s primary focus has been electrical design, with the contractor in mind.  It became evident to her early on in this stage of Ann’s career, that her field experience as an electrician gave her a unique perspective to work as a designer.
